Subaru, Powdr Bring Back WinterFest

Subaru of America is once again partnering with adventure lifestyle company Powdr for its annual mountain tour, Subaru WinterFest.

The annual event, which was first held in 1995 and has featured Powdr as a partner for seven years, was cancelled in 2020 and faced some pandemic challenges last year.

The Subaru community looks forward to the return of Winterfest, which brings family-friendly activities to eight different ski resorts across the country, says Alan Bethke, senior vice president of marketing at Subaru of America.

“For many people, the winter months actually mean spending more time outdoors enjoying a wide variety of activities with friends and families, and our canine friends too,” Bethke says in a release.

The tour aims to promote the Subaru Wilderness family of vehicles across the natural environments of each Powdr resort.

WinterFest events will also include live music by such bands as the Infamous Stringdusters, Lil Smokies, and the Spazmatics, sponsored by Harman Kardon, the premium audio partner for Subaru vehicles.

Guests will also have the opportunity to demo the latest gear from brands like Nordica, Arbor Collective, Mammut, Dynamic Wax and Thule.

Subaru owners can also take part in the “Subaru Weekend Takeover” with events including mountain gondola rides, tram jam sessions and backcountry concerts. Subaru owners will also receive VIP parking and special gifts.

The event runs on weekends from Feb. 11 through April 16 at eight resorts in Vermont, Colorado, Utah, California and Oregon. Consumers can find out more about each stop by visiting www.subaruwinterfest.com and following #SubaruWinterFest on social media.
