Conversational commerce platform Attentive has launched a tool on Salesforce AppExchange that it says helps brands personalize SMS messages.
The new offering, Attentive SMS for Salesforce Commerce Cloud, allows users to sync customer, product and behavioral data to send triggered SMS messages—i.e., back-in-stock, low inventory, and price drops.
The arrangement will empower “any multichannel marketer to build a 360 view of their customer," says Brian Malkerson, chief revenue officer, Attentive.
Brands can also connect Attentive to Salesforce Marketing Cloud to orchestrate campaigns across SMS and email.
Scheels, a joint customer of Attentive and Salesforce, is using both platforms to engage e-commerce customers with targeted messaging based on their interests while driving in-store traffic.
“Attentive has been an exceptional partner, and our SMS program has become a significant marketing channel,” says Nathan Enderle, e-commerce analytics leader at Scheels.
Enderle adds that “the integrations with Salesforce will allow us to use all of our data to create more personalized SMS campaigns, as well as orchestrate our multi-channel marketing.”
