Gamelancer Hires Kristopher Mychasiw As Head Of Global Partnerships, Sales

Gamelancer Media Corp, a media and entertainment company that produces short-form video content for brands, has hired former Montreal Canadiens partnership executive Kristopher Mychasiw as head of global partnerships and sales.

Mychasiw has spent almost twenty years in the sponsorship and marketing industries, and is known as an “industry disruptor,” noted for tapping into emerging markets and developing sponsorship strategies to create new monetization opportunities, the company says.

During his tenure with the Canadiens, Mychasiw worked with multinational brands including CIBC, Crypto.com, Lenovo, Manscaped, and Lowes, among others. Prior to that, Mychasiw worked alongside Canadian sprinting icon Bruny Surin and managed 65 amateur and professional athletes.

Gamelancer Media began in 2019 as Wondr Gaming, acquiring video production company JoyBox Media, then rebranded last April when it acquired full-service media company Gamelancer Inc and has worked with companies such as Samsung, Belkin, RBC, and Celsius.

Gamelancer says that it monetizes across Snapchat Discover channels in partnership with the social media company and currently owns the largest gaming media inventory on TikTok.

Throughout 2022, the company reported a network of over 27 channels across TikTok, Snapchat, and Instagram, adding around 1.4 million new followers and subscribers per month, amassing an audience of 37 million across social platforms and 1.8 billion monthly video views.
