'Mrs. Maisel' Gets Classy Sendoff: A 'Marvelous' 5th Avenue Showcases Series

It’s better than getting the rabbi for Yom Kippur!

Miriam ("Midge") Maisel is getting a mile-long takeover of 5th Avenue on April 14 to send off the final season of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.”

And it’s a brand-sponsorship bonanza.

From 46th Street to 56th Street, the Emmy-winning Prime Video show will partner with Manischewitz, Rockefeller Center, Saks Fifth Avenue, the St. Regis New York and more to escort fans on a short sojourn to the 1960s.

A pink carpet marks the route of the “Maisel Tov” campaign, a chance for fans to celebrate their devotion in classic Midge style. The public can walk down the mile-long pink carpet on Fifth Avenue, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., visiting various stops reminiscent of past seasons.

A special map details the show’s iconic Manhattan film locations, such as Saks Fifth Avenue, where Midge glories in the Revlon counter. Six windows at the famed department store will showcase key series' moments and outfits for two weeks, curated by “Maisel” costume designer Donna Zakowska. Vintage cars and taxis will even park along the street.

Of course, where she finds her true voice is the Gaslight Café, which will be displayed on the northeast corner of 46th Street. A block north, on 47th, a moment from the Catskills resort is featured. On the southeast corner of 49th, travel with Midge and Susie to the Fontainebleau in Miami. Curated cocktail kits will be given out as fans enter the space.

The Wolford dressing room also comes to life on 5th Avenue at the northwest corner of 51st Street. Consumers will be gifted lipstick in a custom Maisel lipstick case.

The Marvelous Mile concludes with a final vignette exhibiting Midge’s accomplishments on the northwest corner of 54th Street.

Other brands will also capitalize on the hit show's farewell via various products and experiences.

Pantone’s collection of specially curated color palettes, Candier’s custom “Maisel” candle, the TWA Hotel’s Sixties-style workout class, Betty Crocker's most popular recipes of the era and Tupperware’s latest vintage line of ’60s-inspired bowls are among the partnerships showcasing the show's period artistry.

“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” is created, written and directed by Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Daniel Palladino. It stars Rachel Brosnahan, Tony Shalhoub, Alex Borstein, Marin Hinkle, Michael Zegen, Kevin Pollak and Caroline Aaron.
