General Motors has enlisted four influencers to
test the capabilities of the 2023 GMC Canyon pickup truck.
Their adventures are chronicled in a 13-minute video, “Finding
Nowhere.” The project also includes a 30-second trailer.
Both videos live on the brand’s social media pages as well as a dedicated webpage.
The four adventurers are Overland Bound CEO and overlanding expert Michael Murguia, chef and
traveler Adam Glick, outdoor photographer Alex Strohl, and writer / photographer Kalen Thorien.
“As they travel toward the heart of nowhere, they face challenging
terrain that tests their skills and the capability of the Canyon AT4X and spend days far from the comforts of civilization,” per the automaker.

The vehicle is put through the
paces as its adventure-ready tech is shown off, like Canyon AT4X’s available underbody cameras that helps them cross rough terrain.
The video shows a rooftop tent that
has piqued the interest of some adventure seekers. As it turns out, GMC is more than happy to sell the $3,295 Odyssey Series 49-Inch Hard Shell Rooftop Gas Strut-Equipped Tent by Freespirit Recreation
as an accessory.
GMC Rewards members can also trade in 9,885 points for an eligible purchase.
