His hire follows SC Johnson’s consolidation of its global creative and commerce business with WPP’s Ogilvy & VMLY&R Commerce in late 2022.
Ogilvy, a WPP company, has developed various campaigns SC Johnson and its family of brands, including Glade and Pledge, in the past decade.
Previously, Matos led McDonald’s global business. He joins from Publicis Groupe and Leo Burnett, where he led creative for Campbell’s, Beam Suntory, and Meta. Prior to Leo Burnett, he served as Chief Creative Officer of Grey Brazil.Liz Taylor, Global Chief Creative Officer at Ogilvy, said: “It takes the special kind of talent to match the ambitions of a company like SC Johnson.
