Stagwell's Assembly unit has been named the media agency of record in North America for iconic bag and luggage lifestyle brand Vera Bradley.

Billings were not disclosed, but the assignment is effective immediately.

The incumbent agency also was not disclosed, but MediaPost last reported that Cramer-Krasselt was awarded media planning and buying for the brand in 2012 as part of a broader account win.

That followed the appointment of Publicis Media's Starlink Worldwide, which was named media agency of record in 2007.
