Now Batting For Stagwell Is Left Field Labs

Left Field Labs Helped Amazon Build A Metaverse Presence 

Ad agency holding company Stagwell has acquired digital agency Left Field Labs, which is being aligned with Stagwell's Constellation cluster of agencies.   

According to Stagwell, Left Field –  based in Culver City, CA – will help guide clients in designing and implementing AI systems, digital transformation initiatives and consumer experiences.

Stagwell CEO Mark Penn said Left Field has “spent 15 years crafting experiences that never existed before, with an exemplary track record of steadily innovating with AI and building what's next with partners like Hasbro, Unity, and DataRobot."  

Left Field co-founder Sarah Mehler will continue in her role as CEO of the agency.    

Examples of previous agency work include:     

  • For a major technology company, harnessing AI to automate existing internal processes.   

  • Concepting, prototyping, and rapid consumer testing to reimagine the driver and passenger UX for the Ford Mach-E.   

  • Serving as Verizon's innovation partner to help define, communicate, and commercialize the telecom's emerging technologies.   

Other agency clients include Google, Discovery, Android, Estée Lauder, Uber, and Disney.  

This is Stagwell's third acquisition of 2023, following digital creative agency In The Company of Huskies and Tinesel Experiential Design.
