Wavemaker Retains Church & Dwight, Holistic Approach Cited

Wavemaker has retained consumer packaged goods marketer Church & Dwight U.S. media account, following a competitive review.

The retention continues an 18-year relationship for the GroupM agency, including Church & Dwight brands such as Arm & Hammer, Trojan, OxiClean, Nair, Spinbrush, First Response and Vitafusion.

Billings were not disclosed, but COMvergence projects the account will bill about $210 million in North American net media spending.

“Through data-driven insights and innovative strategies, the Wavemaker team demonstrated that they are very good at navigating the complexities of the digital marketplace to drive demand for our products," Church & Dwight Executive Vice President, CMO and President Barry Bruno said in a statement, adding: "We were particularly impressed with Wavemaker's holistic approach to media, commerce and content to strategically reach audiences at scale."
