OMG's Hearts & Science Names Siddall Chief Media Officer

 Omnicom Media Group agency Hearts & Science USA has named Alex Siddall chief media officer. 

The role is new at the agency and follows the appointments last month of new chief media officers at sibling agencies OMD USA (Suhaila Hobba) and PHD USA (Melissa Wisehart).

The three executives are tasked with defining the vision and designing practices at their respective agencies and driving collaboration within those agencies while also coordinating with and tapping into the broader array of resources at the Omnicom Group level.  

Specifically, the three hires reflect the operational direction set for the agencies by OMG North America CEO Ralph Pardo to better leverage the group’s “Agency as a Platform” capabilities. Powered by Omnicom’s Omni marketing orchestration system, Agency as a Platform connects media, content, and commerce in an attempt to increase ROI and unlock growth for Omnicom clients.

Siddall brings 15 years’ experience across media strategy, product development and information technology to the role, and previously served as Hearts & Science’s chief strategy officer. He’s credited with developing the agency’s “Emotional Velocity” planning process that is designed to accelerate “meaningful connections” between brands and their customers.
