Ford Motor Co. is partnering with
Dickies to launch more items in a workwear collection inspired by actress Sydney Sweeney’s 1964 Mustang.
This is the second phase of the partnership, which the automaker
launched with the clothing brand and “The White Lotus” actress in March.
The initial collection included a corduroy baseball cap and a “Ford blue”
bandana that says, “Syd’s Garage,” a reference to the actress’s TikTok account, @syds_garage, which is dedicated to working on her vintage Ford Bronco and has 1.6
million followers and 7 million likes.
Sweeney, who grew up in a family of mechanics and learned to drive on her grandfather’s Ford F-100, is shown working on her
vehicle wearing the new gear in a YouTube Shorts video. The clothing line aims to blend style with utility and encourage women's
involvement in auto restoration and maintenance.

The new exclusive pieces include denim coveralls, a racing jacket, a corduroy hat, and a baby tee.
Alongside the workwear launch, Ford gives an exclusive first glimpse of Sweeney's baby blue vintage Mustang, affectionately named “Britney,” after the
original color, “Brittany Blue.” Sweeney will share her restoration plans and demonstrate tune-ups on Britney, right from her garage.
The apparel is showcased
by female auto-restoration enthusiasts Adri Law, Gelica Peralta, Sandy Rancatore, Isabelle, and Lauren Fox. Additionally, the clothing will be modeled in an online lookbook,
available to view for a limited time at Ford.merchandise.com.
The lookbook also shares step-by-step instructions for
basic vehicle maintenance, including how to change a car battery, check tire pressure and refill the air, and check brake fluid and oil.
Sweeney also aunched an Auto 101
series to help teach viewers how to check their vehicle tire pressure, jump a dead battery and other aspects of vehicle maintenance. The series aims to inspire women to feel more comfortable working
on their vehicles.
