Iris Revamps Strategy Team, Builds Global Reach

Iris has shuffled its executive strategy team.

Chris Whitson has been promoted to global chief strategy officer. Peter Wilson has been upped to executive strategy director and Karen Correia da Silva was tapped as senior strategy director.

Whitson will partner with existing global chief strategy officer Ben Essen to build a global community of strategists in various areas, such as brand, social, data and performance.

Essen will focus on the micro-network’s growing offerings within healthcare and consulting, as well as continue to lead sustainability efforts.

Wilson will lead the integrated strategy team from London. He has been a 10-year veteran of the agency in both London and Sydney. At present, he leads integrated strategy for Samsung, Suzuki and Formula E. He reports to Claire Humphris, CEO London and Whitson.
