Stagwell reported SMC's business results for the first time in its Q3 2023 earnings report, which showed revenue for the quarter increased 7%, and net revenue increased 20%.

Rollert joined Stagwell in early 2022 as Marketing Cloud CMO. She joined from ride share giant Uber where she served as global head of partnership marketing. Earlier she held product and analyst roles at Microsoft and Penn Schoen Berland, the latter a PR firm co-founded by current Stagwell CEO Mark Penn and which was subsequently sold to WPP.

“Elspeth has helped accelerate SMC into an industry-leading suite of martech innovation, one of our fastest growing business units, and a core part of our business strategy," said Penn. "From Microsoft to Uber to working with us, I know she can drive business results for legacy and challenger brands alike.”

During her nearly two years with the unit Rollert is credited with helping to drive growth as a key participant in efforts including:

  • The formation of a partnership with Google Cloud to develop marketing-focused generative AI solutions

  • The formation of Harris Quest, a suite of AI-powered real-time research products

  • The launch of ARound, the stadium-level shared augmented reality platform, with the Minnesota Twins, Los Angeles Rams, Kansas City Royals, and Cleveland Cavaliers

  • The acquisitions of AI-powered SaaS platform Apollo Program, insights platform Maru, and location-based consumer behavior platform, Epicenter Experience (now The People Platform)

Rollert also oversees the company's internal "Shark Tank" competition, designed to stimulate employee innovation and fund up to $1 million for transformative technology ideas.
