Mod Op Enhances Marketing Capabilities, Acquires LAM Design

Digital marketing agency Mod Op has acquired LAM Design, a brand strategy and integrated marketing agency. 

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Eric J. Bertrand, CEO of Mod Op, said the addition “not only diversifies our portfolio of services but also brings with it a legacy of client loyalty. LAM Design's impressive track record of brand retention ... will allow us to continue to foster enduring partnerships built on trust, innovation and shared success.”

LAM Design's long-term clients include Duracell, Reckitt, Sanofi and Panera Bread.

Michael Lafortezza, LAM Design president, added the deal “positions us to deliver even more impactful and holistic solutions to our clients.”

In the last 18 months, Mod Op has been on an acquisition streak. LAM Design is the fifth such buy. It also acquired creative agency Red Tettemer O'Connell + Partners, Crenshaw Communications and dPrism, a digital transformation, data and AI consultancy.

Based in Miami, Mod Op has offices across the U.S. as well as Panama and Toronto. The agency's roster includes Nestlé, John Deere, ExxonMobil and Baha Mar.
