Havas ecommerce division Havas Market has announced a global partnership with Shopify that the ad holding company said would bolster its capabilities to help clients with their direct-to-consumer ecommerce efforts.
Like other holding companies, Havas already has hundreds of Shopify experts around the globe working on DTC commerce efforts for clients.
The partnership is intended to fuel closer collaboration between the two companies via the development of customized solutions that leverage Shopify’s retail operating system and that will plug directly into Havas Market’s propriety technology.

According to Bertrand Fraboulet, global managing director, Havas Market, the partnership brings together Shopify’s “technical excellence” with Havas’ marketing expertise to provide brands “a bespoke, tailored approach to ecommerce.”
Havas is not the only holding company to partner with Shopify. Last October WPP and Shopify unveiled a global partnership under which the companies said they would share insights and jointly develop products to help clients scale commerce operations faster.
The main idea, the companies said at the time, is to help clients keep pace with the rapid evolution of ecommerce across all platforms and shifts in consumer buying habits.
