Cutwater Named San Francisco Coffee Company Creative-Media AOR

Gourmet coffee brand San Francisco Bay Coffee named Cutwater its creative and media AOR.

The win follows a competitive review. 

Cutwater will work across San Francisco Bay Coffee’s full product portfolio: OneCUP pods to whole bean and ground coffee. The agency will handle brand platform development, creative, production and strategy. Future initiatives include OLV, social, display and OOH.

San Francisco Bay Coffee is committed to eco-friendly practices. The OneCup pods are made of plant-based materials. It also guarantees its farmer partners earn a profit above production costs, not simply fair wage.

“As a West Coaster, I'm proud to see San Francisco Bay Coffee making a stir nationwide,” said Cutwater founder-CCO Chuck McBride. “What drew me the most to the brand was their dedication toward growing the largest family of farmers and coffee communities in the world. There’s a lot of opportunity for creative fun and social impact.”

First work by the agency is expected later this year. Cutwater was recently named creative AOR for MoneyGram International.

The U.S. coffee market is expect to hit $33.6 billion by 2029, per Drive Research. Its survey found nearly 3 in 4 Americans consume coffee daily.
