Ad agency Colle McVoy has been named AOR for Visit Durango (CO) following a formal RFP process. There was no incumbent.  

The remit includes brand strategy, creative development, media and go-to-market planning.  

In addition to helping shape the destination’s approach to attracting and engaging travelers, the agency said it would also evolve the organization’s brand identity and promote it across paid, owned and earned channels. 
 
The partnership will focus on building a destination brand that reflects the distinctive character of Durango while encouraging responsible visitation and supporting the community's long-term sustainable tourism goals. 

Durango is a historic mountain town in the Animas River Valley surrounded by the San Juan Mountains in the southwestern corner of the state. It was founded in 1880 by the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad and is known for its Old West and Victorian charm, outdoor recreational activities and more.
