When consider a destination city for
art, cuisine and zoos, Columbus, Ohio, is on no one's list.
Experience Columbus wants to correct that oversight, so it enlisted Luquire, its new agency of record.
The agency created the "Yes, Columbus" campaign to highlight the city's go-to options. “Yes, Columbus” is the answer to the incredulous question: “Really, you can find that in Columbus?”
The campaign is live across radio, OOH, display, direct booking, CTV, social, SEM and print.
Ten 15-second spots focus on Columbus' top 10-ranked public market, top science museum, top U.S. beer city and a top 10 culinary destination. “Land Grant” is here, “North Market” is here, and “Zoo” is here.

“We were blown away by the sheer volume of major accolades Columbus has received. It’s across the board – a top 10 zoo, top 10 for immersive art, one of 2024’s best beer cities. What our research found was that people outside of Columbus just have no opinion of the city,” said Glen Hilzinger, Partner-Chief Creative Officer at Luquire. “You would expect Barcelona or Paris to be a top 10 culinary destination in the world. But Columbus, really? Yes, Columbus.”
Luquire's client work includes Visit North Caroline, Harris Teeter, Bojangles and Tire Pros.
