As the National Pork Board’s general consumer marketing agency, BarkleyOKRP will strategize and develop branding and marketing solutions to increase the everyday consumption of pork products among younger Americans, improve awareness of the multitude of flavors pork offers, and highlight the many ways to cook and enjoy pork.
“As an agency with a strong presence in Kansas City we have a deep love for pork and all its iterations, making this an ideal client for us to help celebrate and drive growth,” said Jason Parks, Chief Growth Officer at BarkleyOKRP.
BarkleyOKRP will launch its first creative work for the company in the first quarter of 2025.
Recent ad efforts include the 2023 “Power of Pork” interactive digital hub that featured unique pieces of content produced and promoted with a combination of social, search and native advertising.
The digital hub was housed on the Omaha World-Herald website and featured stories about pork nutrition, sustainability, economic impact, recipes and more.
A highlight of the campaign was a new animated “Modern Pig Barn” section of the hub. Located under the sustainability tab, content featured “Pig Farmer Pete” engaging viewers with a guided tour of his modern-day pig farm. Viewers could click to get a closer look at feeders, fans, slatted floors, pens and more.
