Horizon Media today announced a partnership with Akkio, an AI
marketing data analytics startup that is designed to streamline the media campaign process with advanced AI technology.
Under the partnership Horizon will integrate its data platform blu. with
Akkio’s application-specific AI technology for marketing agencies.
According to the companies, the interface will enable both the agency and clients to employ artificial intelligence
natural-language interactions to blend insights across data sets. That process is designed to enhance the effectiveness of planning, activating, and measuring marketing and media campaigns.
The rollout is scheduled for fall 2024.

The partners are calling the collaboration a “first-of-its-kind deployment” that streamlines the media campaign process from data
ingestion to performance analytics. And, they add, it “amplifies the precision and impact of every media dollar spent.”
What we have formed is bigger than a partnership," said
Horizon Media Founder and CEO Bill Koenigsberg. The enhanced blu. platform, he added, "brings unparalleled power to enhance how both agency and client-side users interact with data, harness
business and audience intelligence, surface insights, and analyze results." The enhanced platform, he added, "will enable marketers to navigate the increasingly complex marketing and digital landscape
with greater agility and insight.”
The companies listed these key features of the platform:
The rollout will include a test phase involving clients from the CPG,
Entertainment, and Retail sectors.
The announcement was timed to today’s start of Advertising Week in New York when Akkio co-founder and CEO John Reilly and Horizon Media Head
of AI Tim Rich fronted a session to discuss the partnership.
