NHL is also extending its deal with the Navy Federal Credit Union. The multiyear extension includes Navy Federal maintaining its status as the official military appreciation partner of the NHL.

The partnership focuses on recognizing and supporting veterans, active duty service members and their families at NHL tentpole events, in broadcast and across the NHL’s digital and social platforms.

Finally, Hockey Fights Cancer, a joint initiative of the NHL and the NHL Players’ Association, returns with AstraZeneca as its sponsor.

The goal of the initiative is to fundraise for cancer research, creating meaningful touch points with communities through tentpole events and storytelling. It also aims to educate and empower more fans to learn about cancer risk factors, as well as take action to get screened for certain cancers as appropriate.
