What do ice cold Russian vodka and a red hot global music sensation have in common? If you’re Saweetie, whose breakout rap hit was 2018’s “ICY GRL,” and Smirnoff, the pair make for a new holiday experience that’s definite more cool than cold.

Saweetie will be part of the brand’s one-day experiential event in New York City, a gift-themed pop-up in Union Square on Dec. 7.

Those is attendance at the Smirnoff and Saweetie-curated pop-up will “step into a winter wonderland where every moment is sparkling with holiday cheer,” per the brand. Guests will be served Smirnoff cocktails along with Smirnoff ICE and have the opportunity to purchase Smirnoff seasonal offerings such as Smirnoff Peppermint Twist, which is infused with candied peppermint flavors, and Smirnoff Red, White & Merry, which is infused with a blend of cranberry, orange and ginger. Both retail for $12.99 for a 750ml. bottle.

In addition to cocktails and shopping, guests can have their purchases wrapped by professional gift wrappers, with the brand adding that “a few lucky guests might even have their gifts wrapped by Saweetie herself.”

Both Smirnoff and Saweetie are promoting the pop-up via their social media platforms.
