Jane Fonda Revamps Fitness In Supernatural's VR Workout

Award-winning actress Jane Fonda was also the queen of workout videos in the 1980s.

Now the star of "Grace and Frankie" is back pushing fitness, promising "cardio will never be boring again."

Meta Quest's supernatural VR fitness platform makes workouts an adventure. And it's tapped fitness icon Jane Fonda for a nostalgic new campaign that just launched.

The campaign runs on social (Facebook, Instagram and TikTok) digital, People magazine print and digital. In an Instagram reveal, the star removes her Quest headset and says: "It's Fonda, bitch!"

Created by New York agency Mythology and directed by Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris from Bob Industries, the work reimagines Fonda's fitness revolution for the VR era. It's a nod to the past — marrying her studio setup and signature moves with Supernatural's modern VR tech.

The spot features New Order's 1983 track “Blue Monday,” with a custom remix specifically geared to the VR segments. American rapper Ludacris is part of the effort, doing workouts alongside Fonda.

The fitness icon features boxing, flow and stretch. There is even a limited-edition Jane Fonda X Supernatural retro apparel collection.
