Toronto-based health care marketing agency Klick Health has acquired Peregrine Market Access for an undisclosed sum. 

Based in Saratoga Springs, New York, Peregrine is a consulting, communications and commercialization agency serving the life sciences industry. The agency helps clients demonstrate the value of their FDA-approved treatments and therapies to the organizations that pay for them including health insurance providers and government institutions. 

Klick said the transaction would strengthen its own operations that focus on value, access and reimbursement activities. 

“Both Peregrine and Klick are passionate about helping clients get innovative therapies to patients who need them,” stated Klick Health co-founder-chairman Leerom Segal. “We believe this will be a greater challenge for patients in the future which makes an investment in this area so valuable.” 

John Guarino founded Peregrine Market Access in 2016 and will continue to lead the firm under the new ownership structure.
