Red Wing Shoe Co. has appointed Minneapolis-based social marketing agency The Social Lights as its social agency of record.
Red Wing CMO Dave Schneider stated, “Through this partnership we seek to be more purposeful to reach and authentically connect with new, emerging audiences while building community across all of the brands in our portfolio.”

In addition to the flagship Red Wing brand, the company markets footwear under the Irish Setter, Worx and Vasque brands.
Separately, the agency has hired Scott Barrett as vice president of social experience. Barrett brings nearly two decades of experience working with brands like Charmin, Expedia, the NFL, Ritz Crackers, and Ally Bank.
