Publicis Bolsters LATAM Influencer Ops With BR Media Group Deal

   

 Publicis Groupe has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Brazil-based influencer marketing and content company BR Media Group.  

Founded in 2012, the firm has a network of over 500,000 creators and leading influencers and 500 global and local clients.

Among other benefits, the holding company said clients will be able to link data unit Epsilon’s identity-led planning and activation with BR’s pool of influencer talent as well as unite their social and audience strategy, influencer management and data-led content production.   

BR is led by CEO and cofounder Celso Ribeiro and cofounder Danilo Basso.   

“With this deal we can better capture insights, identify trends, and integrate these elements into effective influence strategy for the brands we work with,” stated Gabriela Onofre, CEO Publicis Groupe Brazil.  

The transaction is expected to close in late March, following regulatory approvals and other closing conditions.
