McGarrah Jessee (McJ) has named Bill Urciuoli as its first Chief Technology Officer.
Urciuoli will lead the indie agency's media, data and tech group. His appointment comes after McJ was named creative and media AOR for Academy Sports + Outdoors, leading its $100+ million media strategy.
Previously, Urciuoli served as senior vice president, Eicoff, WPP’s performance-marketing agency, where he modernized its media offering and built data capabilities.

McJ is making major investments in new tools and technology implementations, including identity resolution and a CDP (Customer Data Platform). The agency is embedding automation and data insights across all disciplines in its integrated model.
Austin,Texas-based McJ's long-standing AOR clients include Whataburger and Frost Bank, in addition to work for Yeti, Lyft and Fender.
