Pepsi Adds Women Soccer Stars, Including Alexia Putellas, To Athlete Roster

Pepsi has added some new stars to its team of global women’s soccer ambassadors.

The brand added four new players to its roster of athlete partners: two-time FC Barcelona women’s team captain Alexia Putellas; her FC Barcelona teammate, Norwegian winger Caroline Graham Hansen; Saudi Arabian midfielder Farah Jefry, who made her international soccer debut in 2022; and star Chelsea FC Women forward Lauren James.

“Our game is the fastest growing sport in the world, and I can’t wait for fans to see what we have coming up,” Putellas said in a statement.

The four players—along with England women’s national team captain Leah Williamson, already a Pepsi global brand ambassador—will take center stage in an upcoming women’s soccer-focused Pepsi campaign, ahead of the UEFA Women's Euro 2025 tournament this summer.

Their arrival coincides with Pepsi renewing its partnership with UEFA Women’s Football through 2030, which includes “a pledge to help develop the sport and inspire fans across the globe,” according to a release announcing the news. They join a Pepsi women’s soccer brand ambassador roster which also includes: Signe Bruun, Josefine Hasbo, Stina Blackstenius and Tatiana Pinto.

“We are dedicated to supercharging the ever-growing global sporting phenomenon, bringing billions worldwide closer to the game, whilst drawing in a new generation of fans,”  Pepsi Senior Marketing Director Cathy Graham Kidd said in a statement.

To celebrate the new brand ambassadors, Pepsi created four one-of-a-kind murals and displays to honor each of the stars. England national team stars James’ and Williamson’s faces will appear in an OOH campaign taking over London skylines in Chelsea and Holloway Road; Putellas’ will take center stage in Mollet del Vallès, and Graham Hansen will star in an Oslo OOH activation.
