MRC, IAB Release Attention Measurement Guidelines Draft

Ad industry media ratings watchdog the Media Rating Council (MRC) and the Attention Measurement Taskforce of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) this morning released joint official guidelines for the burgeoning media attention measurement marketplace for public comment through July 12.

The draft guidelines, which were developed with input from more than 200 industry organizations are intended to be a first step toward MRC accreditation.

The release follows the August 2024 IAB primer -- the "Attention Measurement Explainer" (see workflow process diagrammed below).
