Warby Parker, teaming with Stagwell agency Kettle has launched a new AI-powered tool called Advisor that provides instant recommendations for frames based on facial feature recognition.
The companies call it a first-of-its-kind technology that lets customers scan their faces in the Warby Parker iOS app to get personalized frame recommendations based on their features and style. (A similar android-based application is in development.)

It’s the latest in a series of innovations from Warby Parker allowing customers to try on glasses or test vision virtually.
Built on Warby Parker’s proprietary AI technology, the Advisor face scan lets customers get tailored recommendations based on facial dimensions like shape, width, nose bridge and individual style preferences.
Kettle helped design the tool and conceptualized future versions to improve how customers discover and interact with Warby Parker’s products.
“It’s a completely new way to shop for glasses—and makes the experience convenient, personalized and fun,” says Dave Gilboa, co-founder and co-CEO of Warby Parker.
Lauren Kushner, Kettle CEO, asserts that the new tool “marks an important step forward in digital retail,” that is “just the beginning of a smarter, more personal way for customers to discover and shop.”
Kettle, which is aligned with Code And Theory, also works with brands like Apple, T-Mobile and e.l.f. Beauty.
