For the next phase of
Motorola’s “Icons Behind The Icons” campaign, the brand is turning to the world of fashion.
The new iteration of “Icons Behind The Icons” focuses on celebrity
stylist Erin Walsh, who has styled A-list celebrity clients like actresses Selena Gomez and Anne Hathaway. In a campaign video, timed to coincide with Fashion Month” Walsh utilizes “moto
ai” on her razr ultra phone to help put together an outfit for a client. The video debuted across both Motorola and Walsh’s Instagram
pages.
“Icons Behind The Icons” launched earlier this month as an extension of Motorola’s “Make It Iconic” brand platform, with an initial focus on sports,
centered around the U.S. Open. The launch campaign revolved around tennis coach Patrick Mouratoglou, who has worked with tennis stars including Coco Gauff, Naomi Osaka, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Serena
Williams.

"Greatness at a Grand Slam may look effortless but behind the champion is a team working relentlessly to make it all possible," Mouratoglou said in a statement.
"With the
Icons Behind The Icons campaign, we're celebrating icons who are not typically in the spotlight and highlighting how the razr enables them to be prepared for iconic moments in their category," added
Maria Jose Martin, North America marketing director for Motorola.
The campaign’s approach of highlighting, “the cultural catalysts whose behind-the-scenes brilliance turns moments
into movements” arguably applies even more to the world of fashion and upcoming categories than to sports. “Icons Behind The Icons” will follow its fashion moment with iterations
exploring beauty and food, while retaining its focus on promoting the razr brand family of mobile phones, and the brand’s “moto ai” features.
