
HUb San Francisco won the competitive
review to rebrand California-based Star One Credit Union. The assignment also included a new campaign.
The agency created a new logo, site and all marketing materials. The integrated campaign
is running on broadcast TV, radio, digital, and OOH.
The four spots features a 5th-century warlord who promises to make banking even more painful for customers. He meets bank employees in an
interview. They are delighted by his brutality, as gauging users is the bank's intent.
CEO of HUb, DJ O’Neil, said the agency applauded the client for “bucking the trend of boring
and expected advertising, which is all too common in the banking sector.”
