TIKI Taps Cramer-Krasselt To Repel 'Mosquitoes'

No one likes pesky mosquitoes. A new campaign for TIKI's Plug & Repel product helps rid them from outdoor fun.

Created by Cramer-Krasselt, the animated "Mosquitoes are Jerks" work is clear: Swap a bulb in a string light with TIKI's Plug-In Repel to avoid these unwanted insects. The tagline: “Screw Out. Screw In. Screw Mosquitos.”

The national campaign runs across CTV, social, YouTube, influencer partnerships, retail media, and search. Targeted media is strong in mosquito-prone markets in the East Coast and South.

“We saw a rare opportunity to rally around something that literally everyone can agree on — mosquitoes are jerks,” said Todd Stone, executive creative director, Cramer-Krasselt. “In a category that typically touts functionality and preys on fear, we leveraged humor, a distinctive animation style and a collective hatred of these unwanted party guests.”
