NHL, Apple Return With Made On iPad Campaign

No piece of hockey gear speaks louder than the goalie mask.

It's a bold canvas that reflects the style and the personality of the player behind it.

This season, Apple, the NHL, and the NHLPA return with a new Made on iPad x NHL campaign, spotlighting how artists and goalies use iPad to transform ideas into the unmistakable masks that define each goalie on the ice.

The campaign features mask artists Jordon Bourgeault, Travis Michael, and Dave Fried who, through the partnership efforts of the NHLPA, teamed up with six NHL goalies to design masks that reflect the identity and signature style of each goalie.

They are Anthony Stolarz (Toronto Maple Leafs), Sam Montembeault (Montreal Canadiens), Thatcher Demko (Vancouver Canucks), Dustin Wolf (Calgary Flames), Adin Hill (Vegas Golden Knights), and Logan Thompson (Washington Capitals).

A new digital series follows their collaborative process, revealing how these concepts come to life on iPad Pro with Apple Pencil Pro features like squeeze, barrel roll and haptic feedback guiding every detail.

A 30-second spot created by Media Arts Lab and Apple Canada will run on broadcast and social.

Also as part of the campaign, the artist-designed goalie masks debut both on the ice and in EA Sports NHL 26. Beginning Dec. 15, the six designs will be available in-game during Chel Week. Masks will be available to all players in World of Chel and Hockey Ultimate Team. Masks will stay playable for the entire NHL 26 cycle—connecting the artistry of the rink with the creativity of iPad and the thrill of the game.
