Rain The Growth Agency, GlamourGals Unite Generations Of Women

Sisterhood is powerful.

“Where Our Gals At,” a new pro-bono campaign developed by Portland, Oregon-based Rain the Growth Agency, reaches across generations of women.

The work is a partnership with GlamourGals Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to pairing teenage girls with senior citizens to provide makeovers and companionship.

The campaign is part of Purpose, Produced, an initiative from SixDegrees.org, founded in 2007 by actor and philanthropist Kevin Bacon. Five nonprofits were selected by a panel of judges at SixDegrees.org, with the sixth chosen by public vote from a slate of 20 finalists. Advertising Week and SixDegrees.org were in charge of pairing participating agencies with the selected nonprofits.

Social assets were created for TikTok and Meta and Rain created OOH concepts. SixDegrees.org is securing donated media space.

At its heart, “Where Our Gals At” celebrates shared humanity, uplifting isolated seniors and proving small gestures can make big impacts.

“We wanted to tell a story that feels universal, but still authentic to the mission, one centered on connection, bonding and the simple joy of feeling seen and valued,” said Scott McClure, SVP, creative, at Rain the Growth Agency. “As a female-founded agency, we were drawn to this nonprofit’s mission right away. ‘Where Our Gals At’ is a reminder that empowerment comes in many forms.”

SixDegrees.org focuses on four core pillars: youth empowerment, justice and equality, sustainable environments and emergent issues.
