TDA Boulder's latest spot for Hapa Sushi admits an obvious truth: People are weird.

The agency created a series of illustrated ads for the sushi grill and sake bar, located across Colorado. The work is running on social, social video, print and OOH. 

Titled “Other People Are Weird,” the campaign invites audiences to forget the public's oddities and focus on a positive — ordering Hapa’s sushi. Each ad delivers the message: “You’re right, other people are weird.” The campaign concludes with the reminder: Available for delivery.

The social work consists of Balls, Dolls, Cosplay, Cats and Portrait.

“According to the National Restaurant Association, nearly 75% of restaurant traffic is now takeout, and it’s not just fast-food anymore,” said Jeremy Seibold, partner-creative director, TDA Boulder. “So, we found a way to make delivery feel not only convenient, but emotionally validating.”

Hapa Sushi Grill & Sake Bar blends traditional Japanese cuisine with a bit of Hawaiian style.

Other client work from the agency includes First Bank, Original Penguin, U.S. Women's Open and Fat Boy.
