Pop star Sabrina Carpenter will be
crunching Pringles in her first Super Bowl spot.
"Created by BBDO New York, the spot reflects how brands are courting Gen Z ahead of kickoff,” according to Designrush. “Super Bowl advertisers are broadening their reach, using celebrity,
social-first moments, and experiential ideas outside the TV spot.”
The partnership was announced with a playful 15-second teaser that People was the first to feature.
It shows Carpenter
plucking potato chip “petals” from a bouquet of chips while reciting “he loves me, he loves me not.” She finally crunches one after declaring “he loves me!”
The last frame features 2-8-26, the date of the Super Bowl.

“Pringles hasn’t yet shared how Carpenter’s Super Bowl narrative will develop, but said it will
reveal more sneak peeks on social media ahead of the game,” according to
Adweek. “This will mark Pringles’ ninth consecutive appearance in the Super Bowl.”
The brand resurrected its 1990s “Once You
Pop” tagline in October with a silly spot where a man uses Pringles to create a pair of duck lips.
“While the brand ‘can’t let too many crisps out of the can
right now’ when it comes to details about the commercial, a press release on the spot explains that the Super Bowl commercial will lean into its new 'Once You Pop, The Pop Don’t
Stop’ campaign,” according to People.
The brand teased that fans can expect more sneak peeks in the next few weeks.
“The ad is
sure to resonate with all the proverbial ‘Single Pringles’ who tune in to the NFL finale, during which all of the biggest companies traditionally put forth their most elaborate, big-budget
commercials,” according to Billboard. “Though it will
mark Carpenter’s Super Bowl ad debut, the Grammy winner has starred in a number of other campaigns, notably partnering with Dunkin’ and Johnnie Walker whisky.”
