Oscar-winner Emma Stone makes her Super Bowl debut in Squarespace's "A Requiem of Unrepentant Anguish."

Produced in-house, the 16-second teaser was just released. A tearful Stone is frightened and upset, though it's unclear why. The intriguing cinematic ad airs between the second and third quarters.

This is the web site builder's 12th appearance at the game, scheduled for Feb. 8.

The 30-second campaign marks the latest creative collaboration between Stone and director Yorgos Lanthimos. They also worked together on "The Favourite," "Poor Things" and "Bugonia," which scored Stone another Oscar nomination.

David Lee, Chief Brand and Creative Officer at Squarespace, told Agency Daily: "Emma Stone is a generational talent. This was a performance reserved for the very few. We wrote the idea with her in mind — because there was really no one else who could play this character with that level of emotional depth."

Previous celebrities starring in Squarespace spots include Martin Scorsese, Adam Drive and Zendaya.
