Emmy-nominated "Modern Family" actress Sofia Vergara is chucking high heels for Skechers new Hands Free Slip-in sneakers, declaring all other shoes "useless."

The spot, which airs just before Super Bowl kickoff, is the brand's 13th Big Game appearance.

Production is by Radical Media and directed by Dave Meyers. They teamed with Skechers USA Inc. and Rex Fish.

“No one can kick off a game like Sofía. She brings energy, passion and attitude to the field with her signature style and confidence,” said Michael Greenberg, president of Skechers. “She’s the perfect fit for Team Skechers, and will remind the millions of viewers that life is always easier and more comfortable when you go hands-free with Skechers Slip-ins.”

Other Skechers Big Game spots have included Snoop Dogg, Mark Cuban, Tony Romo, Mr. T and Willie Nelson. The brand’s first appearance featured Joe Montana in 2010.
