Entertainment marketing
agency Attachment has enhanced its U.S. presence by hiring David Weiswasser as executive vice president, North America.
A seasoned entertainment vet, Weiswasser was previously president of
entertainment marketing agency Platinum Rye Entertainment, later bought by Omnicom, where he continued to run the enterprise.
Ten-year-old Attachment has teamed with top brands, such as
Snap, Google and Burger King, as well as global agencies Ogilvy, Mother and BBH. It has offices in London, New York and Dubai.
Based in New York, Weiswasser said: “I am a firm believer
in the power of talent and music to make or break a brand’s role in culture. Which is why I’m thrilled to be joining Attachment. Over the last 10 years, they’ve shown the industry
what creating culture really looks like.”
Chris Elrin, founder of Attachment, called the hire “a game changer” for the agency.
