Van Note Upped To Joan's Chief Strategy Officer

Joan Creative has promoted Kristin Van Note to Chief Strategy Officer.

A  five-year vet of the agency, Van Note was previously head of strategy, servicing clients such as eBay, ZenBusiness, Sheetz, Grubhub and the Ad Council.

Van Note will oversee the agencys global strategy function, leading integration across creative, accounts and business development teams.

She has been key to building Joans proprietary Growth Wheel framework, which measures cultural relevance, distinctiveness and audience understanding to aid brand growth, and Pulse, a newly launched communications-planning model.

The agency believes these tools produced a 20% increase in new revenue growth and a 15% increase in organic revenue YoY in 2025. One key example is the Brawny Man campaign, which generated more than 1 billion total impressions and brought in more than 35,000 new followers across platforms.
