Soccer stars Mia Hamm and
Emma Sears have a new goal: relieving pain.
Joining with Tylenol, the official pain reliever of the National Women's Soccer League, the duo are participating in conversations and social
activations to openly discuss pain management and recovery.
In addition, there are in-stadium activations at select NWSL games. Athletes and fans can also contribute stories and
share experiences using #PainTalk or access the site.
Weber Shandwick is responsible for the creative, including social content, such
as Mia’s Instagram Post and Emma’s Instagram Post.

“For a long time in sports, talking about pain was seen as a weakness,” said Hamm,
gold medalist and Hall of Fame inductee. “But the game has evolved, and so should the way we think about taking care of our bodies.”
The pair will be on-site July 15
at the Queens Classic: Gotham FC vs. Washington Spirit, Citi Field, New York.
Sears plays for Racing Louisville FC and is member of the U.S. Women's National Team. Olympic Gold medalist
Hamm was a founding player of the Women's United Soccer Association and co-owns two soccer teams: Los Angeles FC and Angel City FC.
“Pain is part of performance, but
ignoring it shouldn’t be,” said Anne Cashman, U.S. Pain Care Lead at Kenvue, which owns Tylenol.
