OBB Bolded Encourages Bumble Members To Make A 'Move'

Bumble's dating app has a new way to forward connections.

Now, Bumble members can create a custom handle that can be shared with someone who wants to check out their profile and/or express interest. Exact handle names are required to search. There is also an opt-in or opt-out option of being discovered.

“Whether someone catches your eye or a friend wants to introduce you, you can now simply say, ‘Find me on Bumble.’ It creates a bridge to explore a potential connection without having to share your phone number or personal social media. You stay in control of what you share, and when, if ever, you’re ready to share more,” said Whitney Wolfe Herd, Bumble CEO.

It is an easy way to oversee information and the dating environment.

OBB Bolded brought the digital out-of-home campaign — “Make Your Handle, Make Your Move”— to life.  Ads run in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.

To support the launch, Bumble teamed up with Kyle Cooke (“Summer House”) handle: @loverboy, Cornell Young IV (“A Different World”), handle: @foreveryoung supermodel/actress Brooks Nader (handle: @xobrooks), and creator Kelsey Calemine, handle: @takeoutkels). The quartet is inviting people to find them on Bumble.
