
If you're like me, you may have received a notification from Google
about the latest update to its Terms of Service, effective July 30.
Normally, I just ignore them, because, well, you know, they're impossible for humans to read. So I asked another part of
Google -- its NotebookLM platform -- to read it for me and give me its critical assessment of the 5,042-word legalese document.
The result is that Google's AI bashes Google's legal department
for not exactly fully disclosing the implications and tradeoffs of the new terms going into effect soon.
