Volkswagen Partners With Boutique Hotel

Volkswagen of America has struck a deal with Casetta Hotels that offers guests access to vehicles both for personal use or shuttling.

Hotel Willa, the hotel group’s boutique Taos, New Mexico retreat, introduces three Volkswagen Taos vehicles for guest adventures and an all-electric ID. Buzz shuttle.

Volkswagen joins several other automakers with hotel partnerships including Cadillac, Lincoln, Land Rover, Lucid, Volvo, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Rivian. Volkswagen sibling brand Audi partners with 1 Hotels to provide e-tron electric house cars, guest shuttles, and localized test drive excursions.

The Volkswagen Taos vehicles are available exclusively for guest use throughout each stay, accompanied by curated driving itineraries designed to inspire deeper exploration of Northern New Mexico.

The marketing partnership aims to create a connection between one of the Southwest’s most culturally layered destinations and the Volkswagen vehicles now woven into the Hotel Willa guest experience.

“Volkswagen’s bond with Hotel Willa is a natural,” said Rachael Zaluzec, senior vice president of customer experience and brand marketing, Volkswagen of America, in a release. “We both embrace a spirit of exploration, art and discovery and for that we’re delighted guests of Hotel Willa will continue to be able to witness the beauty of the American Southwest, now in two Volkswagen vehicles.”

The hotel has also introduced the all-electric Volkswagen ID. Buzz as its signature guest shuttle, bringing a nostalgic icon to the property’s daily rhythm and visual identity, with future seasonal service planned to connect guests to nearby ski mountains.

“Our marketing partnership with Volkswagen naturally extends that Hotel Willa experience beyond the property itself, offering guests a seamless way to explore the landscapes, creative communities, and cultural depth that make Northern New Mexico unique,” said Santiago LaRoche, general manager of Hotel Willa, in a release. “Bringing the Volkswagen Taos to its namesake felt both playful and intentional – reflecting the spirit of exploration that defines this destination.”
