U.K. and U.S. consumers spent nearly 11 hours a day consuming media -- sometimes using multiple or services at the same time, according to new research from Ampere Analysis, NCS
reports. Gen Alpha, those in the 11-to-15 age cohort, spent the most time gaming: 1 hour, 56 minutes per day, and watching YouTube for 1 hour, 45 minutes. Gen Z consumers spent the most time on social
media: 1 hour, 54 minutes, and 1 hour, 20 minutes in music services. Boomers and Gen Xers spent more time with streaming services, television channels and live sports.
