YouTube To Stream Coachella Through 2030

During its Made On YouTube event on Wednesday, YouTube music executive Lyor Cohen announced that the company will continue its partnership with Coachella, offering exclusive streaming of the Indio, California-based music festival through 2030.

In a renewed agreement with concert promoter Goldenvoice, YouTube will stream both weekends of Coachella for the next four years, with plans to expand pre-event programming, in-app documentaries, and additional backstage coverage.

In April 2027, YouTube's partnership with Coachella will hit 15 years, marking a streaming evolution.

Last year, YouTube doubled its free live coverage of the event, broadcasting all six stages and amassing the most simultaneous Coachella viewers the platform has had to date.

YouTube users can watch multiple stages with multiview, as well as official creator-made content and Shorts featuring artists backstage.

The Google-owned social video platform also partners with artists on the lineup, allowing users to buy festival merchandise directly on the livestream or on Coachella’s designated YouTube channel via YouTube Shopping.

YouTube’s coverage of the event invites regional brand sponsorships as well.

Last year’s streams were sponsored by Fast X, Verizon, NYX Professional Makeup, Levi Strauss and Co, Tic Tac, Dover Shower Collection and more across the U.S. and Europe.

Coachella's YouTube page currently has 6.47 million subscribers, with over 1.3 thousand videos.
