President Donald Trump has been harping on his belief that million of people voted illegally in 2016. One of his main arguments is that many people are registered to vote in two states, thereby committing voter fraud. One of those “illegal” voters is now in the White House. Until this week, Donald Trump’s senior counselor and chief strategist Steve Bannon was registered to vote in both New York and Florida.

In an ominous sign for American foreign policy, the entire senior management team at the State Department has resigned. Presumptive Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s job will be significantly more difficult without experienced personnel. Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Paul Ryan has invited President Donald Trump to speak to a joint session of Congress on February 28. This speech won’t serve as a State of the Union address, which will happen out the beginning of next year. Instead, it will be an address to the nation about President Trump’s vision for the country.

Donald Trump’s administration will declare January 20 as a “National Day of Patriotic Devotion.” It is unclear whether this will be a simple Proclamation, or whether Trump will look to create a new national holiday.

Donald Trump on Monday signed executive orders which withdrew the United States from the Trans Pacific Partnership. He also imposed a hiring freeze on federal employees, excluding those in national security and defense-related positions.

Today, Kellyanne Conway tweeted that Donald Trump would in fact release his tax returns once his audit is completed. This stands in stark contrast to what she said on Sunday, when she told ABC that he was “not going to release his tax returns.” Trump’s refusal to release his tax returns was a point of contention for both Democrats and Republicans.
