T3 Forms New 'Perimeter,' Part Of New Ad Tech Lab

Austin-based T3 Wednesday unveiled the T3 Innovation Labs, a new facility focusing on "first-of-its-kind technology," and announced its first product, Perimeters, a new technology platform enabling brands to "define, create and execute location-based marketing campaigns by building geo-fences, or perimeters around physical locations."

The agency said it created the lab to find and develop technological solutions for its clients that "do not yet exist."

Perimeters, for example, will enable T3 clients to leverage their existing mobile applications and/or Web sites to deliver content, offers, downloads, commerce and a variety of events built around a geographic perimeter. T3 said third-party developers can also utilize the platform to create new location-based applications from scratch.

"Within minutes, a user can literally drag-and-drop geo-fencing capabilities into existing apps, launch a campaign and manage campaigns in real-time," the agency said, adding, "The platform is built to easily scale for large marketing organizations with multiple locations, brands and marketing programs."
