
NBC Universal is again offering a
half-hour promotional show this summer for the NBC network's upcoming fall season.
"The NBC Prime-Time Preview Show" -- a 30-minute presentation of its new shows, including "The Playboy
Club," "Whitney" and "Smash" -- will run now through Sept. 25 on broadcast, digital, and cable platforms.
The preview show will focus on exclusive video and behind-the-scenes content, running
more than 500 times over broadcast, digital and cable entities. Whitney Cummings ("Whitney") will host the program, and joining her will be Chris D'Elia, her "Whitney" co-star.
Other new shows
will include dramas "Prime Suspect" and "Grimm," and comedies "Up All Night" and "Free Agents."
Viewers will also get an update on returning NBC shows: "Parenthood," "Law & Order: Special
Victims Unit," "Harry's Law," "Chuck" (for its fifth and final season of 13 episodes), "Community," "Parks and Recreation," "The Office" and "30 Rock." Unscripted efforts "The Voice," "The Sing-Off,"
"The Biggest Loser" and "Sunday Night Football" are also included in the show.

NBC's 234 television stations will have access to run the show, as well as on their Web sites. NBC Universal cable
networks will include USA, Syfy, Bravo, UniHD, Chiller, mun2, MSNBC, CNBC, Oxygen, Sleuth, Xfinity, E! Entertainment Television, mun2, NBC2Go, on-demand and broadband.
NBC says the program will
also be seen on some 11,000 American Airlines flights.
